Virtual Imaging Earns Quarterly Accreditation by the Electrical Testing Lab
|
DEERFIELD BEACH, FL – Virtual Imaging, Inc. today announced that it has been awarded the quarterly accreditation of the Electrical Testing Lab (ETL) Mark by Intertek for the FluoroPRO™ RF Digital Imaging System along with the 50Gi and 60Gi Industrial Digital Detectors.
Recognized and adopted by Intertek, a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL), the ETL program was created to provide assurance to consumers by examining a product’s compliancy to safety and performance through various types of product tests. In short, the ETL Mark indicates that a manufactured product has been tested, inspected and certified by Intertek, which validates the compliancy of U.S. safety and performance standards. |
| “The continual accreditation through Intertek brings world class status to Virtual Imaging because it ensures confidence to our customers through the company’s adherence to ETL reviewed safety ratings.” said Ted Gersdorf, Corporate Compliance Manager, Virtual Imaging, Inc. “By being ETL registered, Virtual Imaging’s customers ascertain that the products they have purchased are tested and certified to meet the exact specifications of the product.” |
| As part of the testing system, Virtual Imaging has agreed to periodic follow-up inspections to verify continual accordance of both safety and performance standards. Through the certification process, Virtual Imaging has maintained a rigorous system that is oriented towards the design, development, production and installation of medical devices and related services. |
