Virtual Imaging Achieves ISO 9001:2000 Certification
|
DEERFIELD BEACH, FL – Kicking off the year with a new level of confidence to its RadPRO® product line; Virtual Imaging, Inc. announces the recent achievement of the ISO 9001:2000 certification from Intertek. Reflecting on the company’s commitment to quality and excellence, the renowned accreditation validates the company’s adherence to all of the requirements for a Quality Management System (QMS), which ensures strict quality control processes to improve performance and customer satisfaction.
With the certification, Virtual Imaging’s customers can be confident that the products they purchase are developed and built within a controlled quality environment. Currently, the QMS emphasizes the use of documented policies and quality objectives as well as requiring executive management’s support and commitment to maintain continuous improvement processes.
“In reaching this milestone, Virtual Imaging continues to demonstrate its dedication to achieving the highest standards of quality,” said Ted Gersdorf, Virtual Imaging’s Corporate Compliance Manager. “In today’s world, ISO 9001:2000 represents a significant competitive advantage, which assures our customers that they will receive the best products and value.”
In utilizing the ISO 9001:2009 certified quality control process, Virtual Imaging assures that the product line follows a QMS that concentrates on the improvements of the design, development, production and installation of medical devices and related services.
Created by the International Organization for Standardization; ISO 9001:2000 is an international standard, recognized worldwide for establishing a quality management system. It is based on eight quality management principles: leadership, customer focus, involvement of people, process approach, systems approach to management, continuous improvement, mutually beneficial supplier relationships and fact based decision-making.
